What Happens Next

Here’s what you can expect now that you’re getting started:

  1. I’ll review your intake form and reach out within 1–2 business days.

  2. We’ll schedule your consultation or onboarding call (if you haven’t already).

  3. You’ll receive access to your Client Portal for document upload and monthly checklists.

  4. I’ll review your current books and prepare a plan tailored to your business.

  5. We’ll confirm your service package and begin monthly or cleanup work.

My goal is to make every step feel organized, understandable, and supportive.

Your Onboarding Steps

Step 1 — Complete Your Intake Form

This helps me understand your business, your current bookkeeping setup, and the support you need.

Step 2 — Upload Any Initial Documents

Upload bank statements, receipts, previous financials, or QuickBooks files so I can get an accurate picture of your books.

This is where we review your goals, workflows, pain points, and next steps.

Step 4 — I Review & Organize Your Books

I’ll assess what needs cleanup, review your accounts, and prepare your initial setup or cleanup plan.

Step 5 — Your Services Begin

Whether monthly bookkeeping or a one-time cleanup, I’ll begin keeping your books accurate, organized, and fully up to date.

Before We Begin

To help the onboarding process go smoothly, please gather the following items:

✔ Last 3 months of bank statements

From all active business accounts.

✔ Last 3 months of credit card statements

Even if you separate business/personal manually.

✔ Any loan or financing documents

(If applicable)

✔ Recent invoices or receipts

Including large purchases or equipment.

✔ Any existing bookkeeping files

QuickBooks backup, Excel sheets, Wave export, etc.

✔ Your tax preparer's information

If you currently have one.

  • No — I can help you select the right plan and get everything set up. You don’t need anything ready before we get started.

  • We’ll review your business, your current bookkeeping system (or lack of one), and outline the next steps. This is also when we finalize your monthly or cleanup package.

  • Most clients are fully onboarded within 5–7 business days after providing their documents.

  • Yes — please pause entering transactions until I’ve reviewed your setup. This helps ensure accuracy and prevents duplicate entries.

  • That’s completely normal. Gather what you can and I’ll help you track down the rest during onboarding.

  • Absolutely — clear communication helps everyone. I’ll coordinate with your tax professional as needed and provide year-end reports.

  • I work with small service-based businesses, retail shops, local trades, farms, and family-owned operations looking for clarity and consistent financial support.
